Peyton's Big Damn Band.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Saloon times on Shelby and O'Brien's St. Patty's Day Show&lt;br /&gt;were highlights in March... the Detour then headed way West&lt;br /&gt;to Phoenix, Arizona to reside at the House Studios.&lt;br /&gt;Acoustic pride rang through the Fiddler's Dream,&lt;br /&gt;the blues basement of Monroe's Blues jammin' with&lt;br /&gt;Chico Chism and Paris James and the hepcat hangout:&lt;br /&gt;the Willow House.  Artistic travels with Robert and April Anderson&lt;br /&gt;and Willy the Bassett Hound to the mindful and illegeal activities&lt;br /&gt;with Professor Jeff Cochran... dub-jam with Confushia.&lt;br /&gt;A push in fine art paintings and desert ballads&lt;br /&gt;that carry a thin shade of dust.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Back to Indiana for the June Jamboree...&lt;br /&gt;the Highway Kind, the Midwest Contraband and the Sarkastiks&lt;br /&gt;covering the Easyfields music...rugged, raspy and random.&lt;br /&gt;Solo busting vibes at the Crabtree's Lounge.&lt;br /&gt;Return engagements in stride&lt;br /&gt;at the Melody Inn and the Hideaway in Indy.&lt;br /&gt;A relentless schedule of back-to-back shows.&lt;br /&gt;Strumming for Govenor Kernan,&lt;br /&gt;sharing the bill with Rev. Peyton&lt;br /&gt;and Zobra Rose within Fractured Folk...&lt;br /&gt;the most moving moments of the 4th Ever Burr Oak Fest&lt;br /&gt;and my favorite performance ever&lt;br /&gt;at Bill Monroe's Bean Blossom Park...whew!&lt;br /&gt;Thanx to the Tecumseh Flyers and one Stringtown Picker.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Detour rolled to the homestead of Knox...&lt;br /&gt;fine time at the Nickel Plate Depot.&lt;br /&gt;Bubbas Bowling Club opening with&lt;br /&gt;Acoustic Showcases and Highway Kind Revues.&lt;br /&gt;Not to forget nice write-ups inside&lt;br /&gt;the Indianapolis Business Journal,&lt;br /&gt;Whatz Up Magazine and the new INTake.&lt;br /&gt;September When? No stoppin' this strum-cycle!&lt;br /&gt;Birdy's was a drunken hoot...&lt;br /&gt;Mad Anthony's an excellent return to Fort Wayne...&lt;br /&gt;steady rockin' for the Distillery...&lt;br /&gt;the harmonica/guitar jam with Al Young,&lt;br /&gt;Big Tuba Ron Fire and the Beech Grove Gleaner's Food Benefit&lt;br /&gt;was a good people party: southside!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Now of course this year has not been perfection.&lt;br /&gt;The desert had some hungry days, Monroe's was a great place&lt;br /&gt;to play blues and get them from a drunken happy-go-lucky owner..&lt;br /&gt;.good paying gigs canceled.
